Welcome to the official website of saxophonist Nicholas Russoniello, one of Australia's leading and most dynamic contemporary classical saxophonists. Born in Wollongong, Nick performs across Australia and Europe as a soloist and as a member of some of Australia's premier ensembles.  NEWS
  • In 2012 Nick will be touring regional N.S.W with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, performing the Glazunov Saxophone Concerto. 
  • Nick will be performing Yoshimatsu's "Cyber-Bird" Concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for the Sydney Festival's Symphony in the Domain on Januray 21st 2012. Nick will aslo perform with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 2012.
  • Perth based composer Kevin Fenner is currently composing a new sax concerto for Nick. Details to come!
  • Nick will be performing at the World Saxophone Congress in St. Andrews (Scotland) in July 2012. Nick will appear with Continuum Sax and will perform with the world renowned Dutch ensemble The Four Baritones. Other WSC performances include taking part in the the premiere performance of Brian Howard's 'Voyages' alongside Claude Delangle and performing the music of Russel Gilmour with saxohonists from Australia and around the world. 
  • On Saturday 3 September Nicholas Russoniello was announced the 2011 ABC Symphony Australia Young Performer of the year after a spectacular performance of the Yoshimatsu Saxophone Concerto “Cyber-bird” with the Queensland Symohony Orchestras.
